GitLab 18.0.1 Patch Release Now Available
We’re pleased to announce that GitLab 18.0.1 is now available, delivering important bug fixes and stability improvements following the recent release of GitLab 18.0. This minor update is recommended for all users to improve their GitLab instance’s performance and reliability.
Key fixes in this release address regressions introduced in 18.0.0, including inconsistent behaviour in group boards when using default columns, and the potential for project namespace deletion errors caused by background job timing issues. Additionally, this patch restores proper CI/CD variable masking in some edge cases, ensuring better pipeline security.
Users working with GitLab self-managed editions such as Community Edition (CE) and Enterprise Edition (EE) are highly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible to benefit from these improvements.
